Core business

The Energy Storage System (ESS) project is lead by LITECH with association of Altınay Robotics and is a core project for the most effective electric car solution. We use high density energy cells based on Li Cobalt chemistry with some density increasing additions. We aim to come up with a commercial solution in 2011.

Module and pack design

We are now in a module development stage and use high density energy cells based on Li-Ion chemistry with some density increasing additions. Base modules are consisting of  OEM cylindrical type cells. They are arranged in wide variety of serial and parallel configurations to get the desired energy density and voltage level. For the pack development and production phase we take the full responsibility. We have several designs and Prototypes with both liquid and air cooling.

Product Strategy

Turkey still using the most expensive fuel of the world and taxes double the unit prices. EV therefore is a very strategic product for Turkey conditions. LiTech’s battery pack designs have strong sales arguments like following;

  • 18650 Li-ion technology
  • High performance with 2.9Ah cells
  • A wide range of capacities from 22kWh upto 99kWh
  • Active/passive safeties against fire propagation
  • Modular structure/different layout applications

Business model

LITECH provides innovative technology in an efficient way with strong sales arguments. While being the producer of its own battery packs, LITECH also installs the drivetrain and assemblies associated components. Our potential customers  are global car manufacturers and government (tender business). We also provide fleet solutions and do Retrofit.
